We give thanks to the Lord for His grace and mercy as our dear Brother Sam marks his 80th birthday on Monday, June 1. “This is the LORD’S doing; it is marvellous in our eyes” and we rejoice in the blessing of a long life granted by His loving hand.

Salam Christian Fellowship was thankful to celebrate Brother Sam’s birthday together after the worship service on Saturday, May 30. It was a joyful time of Christian fellowship, gratitude, and love as we honored a faithful servant of God among us.

The Holy Scriptures teach, “The hoary head is a crown of glory, if it be found in the way of righteousness” (Proverbs 16:31, KJV). We thank God for Brother Sam’s years, his witness, and the many ways the Lord has sustained him through every season of life.

We pray that the Lord Jesus Christ will continue to strengthen and keep Brother Sam in steadfast faith, grant him peace and joy in the promises of the Gospel, and bless him with many more days according to His good and gracious will. “Now the God of peace… make you perfect in every good work to do his will” (Hebrews 13:20–21, KJV).
