This one-hour documentary traces the historical roots of the current conflict between the West and the Muslim world.
Americans have wondered how their nation had become such an anathema in the Muslim world. What fostered the rise of Islamic extremism? What do the radicals want? Why are the jihadists so angry with the West?
Rev. Hicham Chehab will answer questions and lead a discussion following the viewing. Hicham, once a member of the Muslim Brotherhood, before his dramatic conversion to Christ, formerly an adjunct professor of Islam at Concordia, Ann Arbor, MI, and journalist who specialized in Middle East affairs, but now a Lutheran missionary pastor, will help us understand the Middle Eastern world view.
Mark the date on your calendar and bring your neighbors and friends. Refreshments will be served by the World Missions Committee. A free will offering for Rev. Chehab’s ministry will be available.
