A month ago, Hassan came back to the U.S from South Iraq with a new perspective on things after he had stayed two years in the Middle East. He said that he missed Salam a lot there, which made him go to a local Catholic church in the neighborhood that had only seven people. He emphasized that he wants to become Christian, irrespective of the life threat that it may incur.

After reading the catechism and answering all his questions, Hassan said that he was ready to be baptized, at the age of 66…a bit older than Nicodemus. With God all things are possible.
