Jesus Waking up Muslims through Visions and Dreams

“See, here is water! What prevents me from being baptized?” And he commanded the chariot to stop, and they both went down into the water, Philip and the eunuch, and he baptized him. – Acts 8; 38

Throughout the nearly 1,400 year history of Islam, Muslims have resisted the Gospel. Many Christians tried to reach them with the good news, but with little success.
But what is happening nowadays in Muslim communities has never happened before.  Many Muslims are having dreams and visions of Jesus Christ. Islam teaches that Jesus is not the Son of God, He was not crucified, and believing in Him as a Savior, would doom them to eternal hell in Islam
At Salam Christian Fellowship, most converts who come to our services have had dreams about the Lord, visions, and even miracles.
Last May, an Iranian lady, Farida, 35, was baptized. She had seen Jesus and John the Baptist in a dream last year. John the Baptist was holding a bowl of water in his hands. She came to me then, and asked; “What should I do?” I replied “You need to be baptized.” After she had gone through proper teaching, she was baptized in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Last month, her husband, Ahmad, 43, had a visitation from Jesus and is coming to Salam with dedication.
Please pray for both Farida and Ahmad, as they are suffering of isolation from their extended family in Chicagoland, and are pressured to leave Salam.
“Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.” (Hebrews 13: 8). He came to this earth two thousand years ago, emptied himself, and was incarnate in a baby to work salvation for us. Today, he is calling Muslims to faith and using Salam spread His Gospel to the ends of the earth.

In this Christmas season, please support God’s mission with your prayers and gifts so that we keep on bringing the Gospel of Good News, Reconciliation, and Hope to those hopeless Middle Eastern communities that suffer dissent and wars under the yoke of Islam.

Hesham Shehab

Hicham [pronounced HESHAAM] grew up in a world of bitter animosity between Muslims and Christians, which he experienced personally in a physical attack when only about 7. By age 13 he was recruited by an extremist Muslim group and later fought against Christians in the 1975 war in Lebanon. He was preparing to become a Muslim Preacher (Imam) when a car accident laid him up for a year. In 1980, in his first semester in college, his brother was killed by Christian militia. Hicham's response was to study by day, and by night take out his revenge in attacks on Christians. However, hearing the Sermon on the Mount, in a course of cultural studies (in college), brought him to faith. Later, Hicham earned an M.A. in the history of the Arabs and did Ph.D studies in the history of Islam. Hicham finished his pastoral education at Concordia, Fort Wayne, IN, and is currently in the Ph. D program there. Presently, Hicham, and ordained LCMS minister, pastors Salam Christian Fellowship and works as a missionary to the Muslims with the Lutheran Church in Illinois.
