On March 1, more than 125 people braved the snow and came to Salam’s Middle Eastern food extravaganza. It was a joyful and inspiring evening. The Word of God in a spirit of love was shared.
We had excellent audio-visual presentations of the stories of two converts. Rennie Kaufmann and his beautiful daughter Esther took requests for songs, and filled the event with melodies and keyboard music. The food was phenomenal, truly the best I’ve eaten here or in the Middle East itself. It was cooked with love; the love Salam’s ladies have for God’s mission in Chicagoland.
Thanks for the Northern Illinois District, Immanuel Lutheran (Batavia), Trinity Lutheran (Roselle), Peace Lutheran (Lombard), and Christ Church of Oak Brook, St. John Lutheran (La Grange), and all others who support God’smission to Arabs and Muslims in Chicagoland.
God is faithful. Amen
